Q: Are your decorations assembled in a nut and/or peanut-free environment?
A: Although the home that the pinwheels are assembled in is not nut or peanut-free, they are constructed on an entirely separate floor away from the kitchen.  Food and drink is strictly prohibited in the assembly area so that the risk of contact with any allergens is minimal.  To ensure no risk, please advise us prior to assembly of any allergies that may be of concern.

Q: Why can't I purchase your decorations on this website?
A: This is an information site only.  We do, however, have several shops available online where our products, both custom and ready-made, can be purchased - www.twirliewhirlies.etsy.com, www.twirliewhirliestoo.etsy.com, and www.twirliewhirlies.artfire.com.  Shipping is also available.  Our local customers are welcome to continue to pick up their orders directly from our shop if they choose to do so.  Delivery may also be made available in the Greater Hamilton Area for a nominal charge. 
Q: What is the best way to place my order?
A: For both small and larger orders, e-mail is our preferred method.  For a custom item, we may wish to send you a proof for approval prior to completing a order.  For large orders such as event favours (50 plus pieces), a personal consultation may be required in order for us to provide you with exactly the product you desire.  A down payment for material purchase may also be required on large orders.

Q: Why are the decorations I received not exactly the same colour as shown on the website?
A: The difference in colouration may be due to the settings on your computer monitor.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding colour, please do not hesitate to contact us prior to placing your order.

Q: Where do you get your papers?
A: We source our papers and cardstock from a number of local area retailers.   We have also been introducing digital paper designs into some of our works which are custom printed in house for an additional fee.  Keep in mind that as the seasons change, so do the papers available.  If you are a local customer and already have a paper on had that you love and wish to turn into decorations, we will be happy to accommodate this request and will deduct the paper charge from your order.  
A: We do maintain a small stock of pre-made decorations in our shop, however, due to the many options available, we prefer to make most orders according to your specifications.   Currently the turn-around time for most small orders (up to 3 dozen) is within 5 business days but more often it is less than that.  We recommend that once you have decided to use our party decoration for your celebration, you contact us as soon as possible to discuss paper and personalization options.  Large orders, such as wedding or shower favours, may require up to 4 weeks for completion.  Please note that each item we offer is handcrafted.
